Puerto Vallarta in Anderson

No flavor at all! I ordered $20 fajitas and they tasted old and nasty and there was no seasoning whatsoever. The hostess was really sweet and most of the workers were very friendly but we definitely won’t be back

Do not order the steak tacos. DRY,DRY,DRY! Told the waitress, oh, sorry, here is your bill. small tip because she never came back to check on me, but checked on al her other tables. terrible service and food

Happened upon this place last night, we gave it a try, much to our delight they served us the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. To make our experience even better the gentleman that served us in the bar gave us excellent service. Our experience was top notch. Kudos.

Open for outside dinning during corona virus.. dont forget to order a CORONA!!!! Great service and great food.

Always excellent service. Honest employees!!! My husband left his wallet on the seat and one of the employees found it and got it back to us. We are very thankful that nice young man who worked there found it.

Me and my wife love this place. Food has always been amazing. Try the seafood stew. I have ordered it the last 5 times we have gone out to eat here. I can't get enough of the seafood stew. So good.

I would think with the limited dining rules in effect, they would chearish the take out business. But NO.This evening I ordered 2 #2 dinners to go.While waiting the young lady at the counter spent all that time on the phone. Since I'm not paying her wages, that's okay with me. Except,, that my order was brought out an placed on a table. I was the only one waiting for a to go order. So, the person bringing it out, could have just handed it to me.After waiting 5 min for her to realize there was an order waiting for pickup, I went to look at the receipt. It was my order. I simply took it and left. She's probably still on the phone.Got home and the food was cold, which leaves me to believe it was never hot when it left the kitchen. I normally have a good experience with this company. But today, not so much. All because BSing on the phone was more important than a customer waiting for his meal. Normal young people priorities, I guess.

Very friendly staff, we were greeted and sat quickly. Food was beyond plentiful. I ordered a sampler appetizer and it turned out to be two extra meals of leftovers.

Great food and you can sit and eat inside.

Great Mexican food in anderson is hard to find. I recommend the pollo al la creama or their chorizo nachos.

I give 5 star to the staff that was very welcoming, very attentive, constantly checking up on our table. My wife and I each ordered the molcajete that came with chicken, steak, mushrooms, onions, I think bell peppers, and cheese put in a salsa. With rice and beans on the side. I thought it was so so...the original molcajete has fresh tomatoes and made into a salsa that's thick, this one tasted like it was made with canned tomatoes, very watery and that makes a HUGE difference, kinda gave it an Italian food taste to it, but I can't say it was disgusting. The dish cost around $15.00 and personally I think they need to serve with more steak and chicken....try it for yourself. My kids ordered the carnitas quesadilla and they must have loved it because they finished it....I really liked the cinnamon buñelo topped with whipped cream and strawberry swirls dessert they give you ...

Me and my family have been going there for years mainly when they were in Reading and was excited to have them in Anderson usually very good service in accommodating but last night my meal was horrible which I only ate a small portion of before asking to have it taken off of my bill the manager refusedSo we paid our bill tipped our waitress but unfortunately that’s the last time I will be back I worked too hard for my money to be treated like that I will take my business elsewhere

We got our order to go. Quick service but my carne asada plate seemed a little under seasoned.

My boyfriend really talked this place up to me and I have to say I was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the servers were all very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The atmosphere was very cozy. The walls between the booth made me feel like we were the only ones there. We went a little later on a Thursday night and there weren't very many people. However, they did seem to have quite few diners who were leaving as we arrived. I tried a dish I wasn't familiar with and didn't really care for. It wasn't bad just not quite suited to my taste. I mentioned it to the server and he helped me get a dish that was more to my liking. I ended up getting the chicken and steak fajitas and they were the best ones I've had in quite a while. Also the portions were enormous. One dish could easily feed two people. Overall, I had a great experience.

I had the shrimp cocktail which was very good! Unfortunately accidents happen and my sister pulled a long black hair out of her pork carnitas, well actually she had to pull it out her mouth, so gross!

Very crowded this early afternoon, but food was excellent as usual and friendly service made it exceptionally good time.

Our girlfriends were in town from Oroville and we had the Chili Rellenos Taco Rice and Beans and they were absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back when we pass through again. Food was excellent, fast service, friendly waitress. Accommodating throughout our visit ..

Food here is good, the service is exceptional. The prices are alright. They have a full bar, and though I have not had a drink here, that is always a bonus. Definetly is worth a try.

A lot of the times the wine glass is dirty. I've had to ask for a clean glass many times. But the food is good

Excellent food, happy hour margaritas $4.99 with variety of flavors. Downside - tequila taste dominated the drink. For a lunch time drink at a restaurant was too much.

Best Mexican food in all Anderson plus the best flan i ever had, for those that don't know what flan is, it's a Mexican desert custard that just melts in your mouth. Service is incredible don't have to ask for anything they always asked me if I needed anything. I'm never disappointed 👍👍👍👍👍 🍺🎸🍴

This is the 3rd Puerto Vallarta in the area. And like the others, this one is also excellent! Good food, great staff and nice environment. The price range varies for dinner between 11 to 19.95 (for steak fajitas).

Food was excellent! Service was good. Just do not use the bathroom. No stall doors, no soap to wash your hands, no lock on door. Standing water on bathroom floor. No tile. It honestly looked tore up. At least they had running water so I could rinse my hands.

If you're heading north and feel like Mexican, this is a nice place to stop. The food and service are good, and they have a complimentary dessert! Only got in to pics, we were hungry and I totally forgot to take pics of the meal. Sorry.Hubby had a michelada, which he claimed was one of the better ones he's had. It has a nice kick to it. It's worth a try.

I met a group of women from my church for dinner.... The atmosphere was welcoming and warm, our waitress was a joy to be around.... The food was delicious 😋 and the portions were grande.... One of my favorite places to go for a good Mexican meal ❤️
